The art, science, symbolism, and simplicity of making bread with natural yeast fascinates me! My sourdough journey began in 2013 when a dear friend brought my family a warm homemade loaf of spelt sourdough bread. It was the most delicious bread I had ever tasted. After studying the health benefits of sourdough, I was convinced I needed to learn this skill. Over the past ten years I have been experimenting, making mistakes, and finding joy in sourdough. And now I feel nudged to teach others and share what I have learned!
